Upon start up the unit feeds pellets and everything seems good until the temp indicator climbs to 586. Temp indicator remains as 586 with the "down temp" indicator. Pit is actually running about 280 based on probe temp. I've tried restarting and umpluging now a few times. Just replace the themocouple about 2 years ago. Pit is YS640 July 2013 model. Fermware U26 I beleive

I am having the same problem except with a 480. Start up went fine, indicated temperature climbed to 648 very quickly. Did a shut down and unplugged the unit, restarted - same issue. Smoking a couple of turkey tenderloins so I just kept priming.
