I had a Traeger for 2 years and was mostly happy with the food I cooked, but not the overall quality of the grill. I just switched to a YS640s. I smoked 2 spatchcock chickens today for my first cook. The flavor was good but wasn’t as juicy and smoky as I’ve done in the past. After the fact I realized I forgot to pull the damper out - I had it positioned all the way in. Would this affect my cook that much? I’m a rookie, so any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
