I'm new to the smoker cooker world. I have a wood fired oven that I've smoked pork butt in with excellent results using retained heat, but there's no way to easily control the temperature. I'm excited I'll be able to set it and forget it once I get my 480 on Friday. I did a lot of research on smokers and it was an easy decision to go with Yoder!
