Hello, I stumbled across this forum searching for information, advice, knowledge and nonsense, not necessarily in that order. I own the Cheyenne offset and absolutely love it, I’ve cooked everything from briskets to turkey’s on it, even in the cold of winter here in northern Michigan.

Do you have any issues with fire management? What is the size of the splits you use? Do you use the damper on the door or just leave the door open? How much charcoal do you start with? Thanks.
