Hello I have had my YS640S for about a week and a half cooked on it 8 times. I had another brand pellet smoker for 7 years I am glad I upgraded. I like pellet smokers for ease of use. I used to be a stick burners many years ago then I had kids and switched to a gas grill with a box to burn some wood I. It till I discovered pellet grills.

You guys beat me, my YS640 is in the mail!

My new 640s comes tomorrow. I am blank as to what I want to cook first. Any ideas for something to break the grill (and more importantly) me in? In a prior life I owned a charcoal smoker with a fire box and an indirect cook/smoker chamber with a baffle. It was fun but it’s literally been decades since I’ve done anything other than grill over a direct gas flame. What are some ideas for my first few cooks? I’m up for grilling and/or smoking. Thanks!
