Hello! I have been cooking on a Weber Smokey Mountain for nearly a year. New to BBQ and thinking I want to make the jump to an offset wood pit. I really like Yoder’s products and have been lurking in the forums for about six to eight months. Exploring the idea of a custom Kingman. I was initially drawn to Yoder for the pellet pits but I want to be able to cook in inclement weather as I am located in upstate NY so it rains and snows. I have found a ton of information so far and am looking forward to a purchase either later this year or next spring!

Sorry but just trying to follow along, @grumpygrilling but are you saying you want the pellet or the charcoal grill?

I am trying to decide between a pellet or wood pit. Kingman or YS1500. I currently use a Weber Smokey Mountain which I love, but I want to cook with wood.
