The smoker was smoking a Turkey at 225. I was at the gym and just decided to check the temps after it had been on for several hours… The temp was down to 110… I don’t know how long it was like that. No message (push notification came to my phone)… my food is ruined… I have to throw it away now because I have no idea how long it was sitting at such a low temperature, what a great New Year’s Eve present from the folks at Yoder… Maybe Yoder should have a simple little alert sent out when their machine fails? Could help their customers not lose their food. I could have transferred it to the oven… Bigger question, why does my brand new smoker not work? Maybe I should have purchased a different brand? I’m assuming I have some sort of limited warranty? I want it fixed… And I want Yoder to make it right.
