Just replaced Thermocouple on my comp 640 when I fired it up the dots went in a downward direction in stead of up ward any suggestions??

That fixed it thanks .. Now Its having large temp swings before it adjusts .. ie ive got it set for 275 and it goes to like 295 then the dots move down then th oppisite it will get like 240 before the dots move upwards???
