Fan stopped working when grill got to temperature

I bought a YS640s in April 2020. I turned it on and it got up to temperature like normal. I prepped the meat, cam down to put it on and the fan was off but the hopper was still going. Weird since the fan is always supposed to stay on. I figured the only way to troubleshoot it was turn the grill off and unplug it for a minute. As soon as I pushed the power button, the fan came on as the grill went into cool down mode.

I went through cool down mode normally and unplugged for a minute after it shut off. Now, the grill is back on heating up and the fan is working.

Anyone know what’s going on?
