I ordered my 2nd YS640 with the silver comp cart with stainless steel shelves, 2 probe ports and the cover.
I was going to buy the Blue Comp Cart but the young lady gave me a incorrect price for the blue (if it sounds to good to be true, it is) so I stuck with the silver like my first one. It didn't really make that much of a difference to me so I went the cheaper route. Love to Yoder! :D

Thanks Mike. Sorry that it didn't work out to get the one from the Fiery Foods Show.

Curious about you ordering two probe ports. Do you typically run multiple thermometers requiring a second port? Is there much of a negative impact if you only utilize one of the two probe ports?

The ONE probe port allows TWO probes to fit through. The Maverick has two probes. One for chamber temp, and one for meat temp. All you need. You can mix and match, use two chamber probes or two meat probes. Depends on how you feel for the day.

If you are not using the ports, or are only using one of them, you can tighten down the cap and it closes off the opening.
