Thermal Couple Replacement

I just replaced my thermal couple. When I start up my YS640 now, the Fireboard temperature stays at 66 degrees Fahrenheit. The temperature of the pit was up over 550. Any help in figuring out the issue would greatly be appreciated.

Shot in the dark as I am no technical expert, but did you make sure they sent the right thermocouple?

I spoke with a rep from All Things BBQ and he told me which one I needed. It was the same size as the one I removed, so it should be the correct one.
