So I bought a new ceramic igniter for my 2018 YS-640, and it doesn't fit. See the attached image. The old igniter is on the left new one is on the right. You can see the mounting bracket on the new igniter is bigger than the old one.

Any thoughts on this? Do I have an old ball cooker, or are there multiple brackets for these igniters? I purchased my new igniter from ATBBQ.

What is the center to center measurement of the mounting holes of each?

The new ceramic should be a direct retrofit.

Update on this issue.

I spoke with Yoder support, they agreed in my case it’s an issue and they are sending me a new bracket altered to fit my unit. They are also sending the bump stops for the counter weight bar.

Great support, and that’s why I invested in Yoder.
