I love my Yoder YS640, Let me state that again, I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Yoder ys640

I have been using it for about three years. Last year I replaced the igniter. I have noticed that I have issues now with pellets in my hopper catching on fire during high heat (>300 degree burns does not happen during long smokes at 225 or less.). I have a video located here for your review...

Before I dig into the unit, have YOU experienced this? If so, how did you solve it.

Could I have a reversed polarity on one of my fans?
Do I need to reseal the unit somehow?

I had same issue i had to re silicone around the fire box. also when you open the lid like that it creates a backdraft and pulls more some that way making it look worse. Once i re silicone it I was fine.
