Hello, I just purchased the charcoal basket for my Cheyenne. This may be a dumb question, but what happens when the fire completes the snake and is empty on the damper side? Do I simply refill it with charcoal and then light it again?

Have a small chimney off lit charcoal briquettes and start using small splits of wood. You can NOT leave the fire alone long but you should get an hour and a half from the basket itself if smoking at 250 or below.
