New Thermocouple Reading 0 Degrees

New Thermocouple Reading 0 Degrees

I just installed a new thermocouple on my 640s per the instructions and the control board is reading 0 degrees. I thought I might need to swap the white and red wires, so I did and it's still reading 0.

Have a big cook tonight and I'm getting nervous.

Any advice?

Update: Got a call from Joey at Yoder (amazing gentleman btw) and as it turns out, I have the new board that takes a different type of thermocouple/wiring. The new one has 2 white wires and the old one has a red and a white wire. Using the old red and white wire thermocouple resulted in a 0 degree reading on the new board (as expected). He's sending me the new model and should be good to go. Huge thank you to Joey and Yoder for incredible customer service!
