Temperature Reading with no probe inserted
Posted: July 4th, 2020, 6:21 pmYesterday when I turned on my YS 640 probe 1 had an initial reading of like 200° During the start up. I plugged in 2 probes in hoping it would fix iteself during the cook and it didn’t. The temperature reading for probe 1 position was erratic and climbed above 1,000°.
Today when I turned it on the same thing is occurring. No probe inserted but shows reading of 988°. I tried putting a probe in and it would not read correctly. Probe 2 seems to be operating correctly.
Any suggestions?
