High Temperature Grilling and High Humidity Days

Ok about a week ago I set up my YS480s for grilling and set the temp to 500 (grill grates in and door removed from two piece diffuser). The relative humidity for that day was around 96%, and the ambient temp was around 90. The smoker never got higher 440 in 25 minutes. Since I was grilling steaks and the grill grates register a MUCH higher temp I went ahead, and they came out just fine.

That being said has anyone else had this issue in on a high humidity day? I have done this on other days and it got to 500 no problem.

Thanks.

That's an interesting one! Am new to the scene and am looking to get a pellet smoker (haven't decided on the brand) and this is my first time hearing of this!
