So I got my retrokit installed last night. Turned on and works good. My question is, is there supposed to be so much resistance in the knob? Its not a smooth turn wheel and its very tight.....

With use, the know will loosen up a bit. It is nothing to be concerned about, unless it is not functioning to make/select desired settings.
