I'm looking for any Smoking Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures related to whole hogs that any of you might be willing to share.

I have not cooked a whole hog myself, but if I was going to, I would use Google to do some research. I know that Aaron Franklin did a video on doing a whole hog in a temporary block pit.
