Hello -

I have had my YS640 for about a month now. Love it, and I don't have any buyers remorse. Two comments/questions.

- The cover is horrible, It is not water proof by any means. Fortunately. I have a big enough shed it lives inside.

- How do you seal the door. I am finding that more smoke comes out the left side of the door than the chimney pipe - Obviously it is taking the path of least resistance. I have confirmed that my grill is on a level surface.

Thanks,

Mark

The door is not designed to be sealed. You may attempt to realign the door if you so desire: download/Install%20and%20Repair/Adjusting%20The%20Hinges%20on%20a%20Yoder%20Smoker%20Pellet%20Grill.pdf

Thanks, I will give this a try. My door definitely doesn't sit flush like the second picture.

Yes! They have a kit now for $18 that will seal the lid. No more leaking smoke... very nice improvement! The kit comes with two spacers to rase the lid to make for a very tight seal when you put the felt on.
