The new 640s looks great! My 640 is fairly new. Will there be a retrofit kit available at some time?

There will be Yoder Smokers ACS retrofit kits available in Q3(fall) and pricing will be announced at that time. We will email all registered owners when the kit is available. Ceramic igniters are available for purchase currently and retail for $52.95 plus shipping and handling. All items will be available for purchase from your dealer as well. If I'm running a Fireboard already with my 640 (purchased Feb 2019), is it going to be worth the $$ to upgrade the controller? Are the new features worth the effort to replace my current system? Just curious! Thanks for the insight!

I have a YS480. I still do not see much of an update here. Is this ACS controller really worth the $399 cost? I paid $1800 for this smoker and accessories less than two years ago. I did not get an e-mail about the upgrade. Is there a discount on the ACS controller upgrade for people that already own grills as an incentive to upgrade?
