I currently have a YS640 and am waiting on my Loaded Wichita to be delivered. I called today and it looks like I have five more weeks before delivery. I love cooking on my pellet smoker but am looking forward to cooking on a stick burner.

Hey,

i got my loaded wichita a few weeks ago and I am disappointed with the smoker. Welds are nicely done, door fit is excellent. But the damn thing sits on three legs because they were not oriented properly when welded. They say its important to level front to back I get a different reading if I use the lower rack or the handles at the end. The grills themselves are sloped in the opposite direction. Bought the log lighter and it too wasn't welded square with the firebox so the flames kind of shoot out towards the front of the box.. Had I been able to walk into their shop I would not have bought this one but they still crated it and shipped it to California. On the pallet I just thought the pallet was nailed together in a racked position. Turned out it was the smoker not the pallet. So far all I have heard from Yoder is they will let the VP and customer service folks know. Haven't heard a thing so far. I am disappointed they sent it out this way. Frankly I think they should have offered a replacement and fired the guy who put mine together. Hope you have better luck.
