Yoder Smokers Community Forum

Hello Everyone,

I am brand new to the forum and considering moving to the world of pellet smokers. I am pretty set on a YS640 and will be asking for this as a 45th b-day present.

I am replacing an aging weber summit. My modded char griller POS died about a year ago (I have been using a weber kettle with smokeblade). My wife is a propane girl so I always have to moderate smoke level in the food - the pellet seems like a good way to go here.

I know there are no dealers in my area... Just curious if anyone knows of a team or group that might be running a Yoder in the next few weeks (competition/fair/other event) where i could see one in action.

Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated?

I promise lots of photos at some point in the future
