hi yall from hickory tavern sc

hi everybody, im here to maybe get educated on pellet smokers/grill ive done the wood offset grilling,smoking im looking at the ys 640 I like the idea of the controlling temps this is a big expense for me but id rather save to get a top of the line item than buy 5 lower price items I do a lot of sausage,and salimia making with my smokers now I need something for smoking/grilling I kinda of fell in love with good texas style brisket and of course good ole Carolina pulled pork this is what I need the 640 for but like I said I know very little about these pellet grills please somebody enlighten me ty gary

Hey Gary, I spent the summer playing with a 480; 640 & 1500 while I was waiting for my 640. I'm between Rock Hill & Charlotte if you want to come up and burn some bones some time. If you're on the fence, that should seal the deal. I'd like to pick somebody's brain about sausage making too, so it would be a win-win.
