New here. New 640s. Did first smoke after break in. 1 rack of pork spares. Took 7 hours and wasn't done. No smoke flavor, barely a ring. Will switch some stuff up and try again. Kinda disappointed as I did exactly as my old gmg but burned 2x the pellets on this grill and they didn't turn out nearly as good, especially for 4x the price of the GMG.

Welcome aboard!

I cook ribs at 275. Takes 3 to 4 hours depending on the size/weight of the ribs.

I've Always done ribs at 225 on my last grill, a gmg Daniel boone, never had issues with them not being done after 5-7 hours depending on how many. This thing was 8 hours at 225 and still only at 158 degrees and failed the bend test. Only opened at 3 hours to wrap, 2 more hours to unwrap, then another half hour, then sauced. The grill was barely warm inside so i figure something is wrong but it sure had a flame going
