New ys480 owner
Posted: July 10th, 2018, 12:05 pmI am a proud new owner of a ys480. I have been grilling for about 36+ years and smoking for about 12 years. I started with a Brinkman smoker but graduated to a Big Green Egg about 10 years ago. I had been wanting a Yoder for over a year but Alston wanted to see one before purchasing and the nearest dealer was 5 hr drive away.
I recently retired and was looking at the Yoder again and found that a new dealer was just 15 min away. My retirement gift to me was the YS480. My first cook was for Mother’s Day. I cooked 2 buts and 2 whole chickens for pulled chicken. Fed about 20 people.
It turned out great. I am looking forward to enjoying retirement and cooking on the YS480.
