I'm Frank Jamieson and I've owned a YS640 since March 2011. I'm a retired Federal Employee (civilian); 38 years of service including a couple of years active Military (1970 - 1973). My job in the Government was Quality Assurance at a major command located on Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL. I traveled extensively in my job both domestically and internationally, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Austria, Turkey, South Korea, Thailand, Belgium, Portugal and a several other wonderful places. I have always had a love of grilling/smoking/BBQ and the Yoder YS640 has been the best piece of equipment to date. I'm married (35 years) and have one son. Since retirement, we've developed a new passion for traveling Route 66 (YES, you can still travel on about 85% of the Mother Road). We completed the entire 2448 miles from Chicago to Santa Monica in 2009 and have made partial trips the next 5 years. We've met some terrific people along the Route and look forward to seeing them again and again.
