Hey Everyone,

I purchased my first Yoder smoker. I got the loaded Wichita. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions on seasoning it. It has a suggestion in the manual but ive see alot of videos and was wondering if there was another way. I have trees around and it drops lots of tree particles and dont want it adhereing to my Yoder.

Thanks in advance

Lots of oil on top of the smoker. Every time you finish using it. Rub it gently while every one else eats into the night. Build a shed. Use a tarp. If in a hot humid climate good luck. Or let the outside look like hell, it can't hurt the beast. Worry about the inside. It's a smoker, not a car with shiny paint.

Maybe read up on all the bazillions of smokers in your area posts on a bazillion of places (Google) on how to take care of the smoker.

This is a tiny site SMALL next to the info out there.

Goggle fu, get on it!

Use Google. "Fu" comes from the fighting style, Kung Fu. If you are an expert in Kung Fu, you are an expert.

Thus, the term Google Fu.

Hehe. Lots of info on the web,

Ehh, buy a cover.
