Hey everyone!

I got my YS640 today! This is my 1st pellet grill as I am coming from a Weber Smokey Mountain. I still love my Weber but wanted something that I didn't have to babysit as much. Did the burn in today, so will be ready to go tomorrow. The place I bought it from only carries Lumber Jack Pellets. I got the competition blend. What do you think of that brand?

I want to do some party wings, but I have only ever done them on my Weber charcoal grill. How long do you think it will take on the Yoder? I will be having baby back ribs on the top shelf at the same time.

Thanks and I am glad to be a part of the Yoder family, finally!

Welcome! I just upgraded myself to the 640. So far I've done ribs, steaks, brisket, chicken thighs and sausage.

If I was going to do wings, I would set my temp. at 350° and throw them on for about 30 minutes or so. I'm not real good at times, though. I usually cook by sight and a fair amount of poking.

Good luck and enjoy the journey!
