Hello all,

I just put in an order for the YS480 and I want to be able to sear steaks, burgers and the like on it. I watched a bunch of YouTube videos on these and all the videos are using the YS640. I'm questioning if the YS480 is too small for the 2 piece diffuser. I still have time to change the order. Any advice?

There is a 2 piece diffuser made for the YS480 too. It will work just like the YS640.

Good evening...not sure what you ended up doing but I ordered the optional diffuser a few days after I received my YS480 and am 100% convinced it was a good decision to order it. Not just for direct grilling but for the ease of use for cleaning the burn pot.
