I have a ys640 in the making, hoping to arrive in a couple months. Was wondering if y'all might have a common pellet mix that you could use for most cooks such as pork, beef, and chicken. I am wanting to use bbq delights and doing some stocking up before smoker arrives. Was wanting to come up with a do all mix if that makes sence for mostly all cooks. If not what do y'all recommend on using for for each type of meat?

Welcome aboard!

I use a 50/50 mix of BBQR's Delight pecan and cherry for everything I cook.

Depending where you live can save you a lot of money. Try Google etc in your surrounding area. BBQ delight is a good pellet as are a few other brands.

I have been looking some, but seems like my best value is going to be ordering. I live in West TN and haven't found many places close by that carry bbq delights or lumberjacks yet. I know they can get expensive but I am thinking that at least going the pellet smoker way I don't have to worry about finding dry hickory and hard to find apple that I was previously using in my Lang smoker. This TN humidity though might be hard on pellets.
