Love me some BBQ

Morning Gang,

Wanted to introduce myself and the newest (at the time) member of the family.

Have been smoking with a stick/coal burner for a while and wanted to be able to spend more time with friends and family as the years have rolled on as opposed to babysitting the fire all night/day.

We've done maybe a dozen briskets and probably 6 to 8 pork butts, some burgers (which, when you remove the deflector, taste unbelievable) and short ribs. It's been an absolute pleasure to cook on this unit.

Warmups are consistent (as opposed to the offset style), cook times are reliable, you can even rest in the wee hours of the morning when the cook is underway. Overall, a major fan of the unit and its construction.

We have found that the smoke does create a good consistent flavor, keeps temp reliably, returns to temp rather quickly after opening the massive main door and so on.

Meat Porn (yes it was done on the 640)

Thanks, Don was nice about adding the outlet to the cart for accessories in case I needed a light or something comparable
