Hi All!

I have had my 480 for about 3 weeks now. I absolutely love it. I do have a question though: At the bottom left side of my lid I notice that it isn't fitting as tightly as the rest of the lid area. So what is happening is that I get smoke escaping from the bottom left area of where the lid shuts. It is not a huge amount of smoke, but I wonder how that is affecting the smoker holding temps properly. I just wondered if this is normal or if it should seal all the way around?

Thanks,

Darin

None of the Yoder Smokers cookers are designed to be sealed. The more you use your cooker the better it will be. If you feel the need, here is a document that will take you through the lid adjustment: download/Install%20and%20Repair/Adjusting%20The%20Hinges%20on%20a%20Yoder%20Smoker%20Pellet%20Grill.pdf
