Ash On Cooking Grates After First 350 Burn
Posted: August 25th, 2015, 11:33 am
Yesterday I received my YS640.
The first thing I did was read the manual that was sent with the unit.
I then leveled my unit and went through the start up procedure as per the manual.
Used Apple BBQ Delight pellets for my initial 350 degree burn. Started fast and I did not peak!
After about 2 hours I turned the unit off and allowed it to go through the cool down process.
After the unit stopped I opened the lid and noticed ash all of the cooking grates. More by the left hand side.
See attached pictures.
In searching the forum it was stated this was normal?
I checked to make sure the diffuser was centered and pushed all the way to the left.
Advice?
