Here is a picture of what a perfectly fitting burn grate looks like in a YS1500. The burn grate needs to fit correctly, or you will experience temperature differentials across the grate, inefficient burning fire, large temperature swings, unstable controller temperatures, failed starts, and be at risk of a burn back fire.
