Good morning,
I've love my Yoder.... My biggest problem/complaint is my top rack is 75-100 degree cooler than the pit temp.
I've done about 6 cooks, and this has been consistent regardless of external conditions, in talking to my friends who got me into BBQ and one who specifically has a Yoder, he advised that his grill the top rack is always the hotest point on the grill.

Sun Nov 8 Session https://share.fireboard.io/E213D6
These are my last two cooks, where I realized that my cooks were taking so long because the pit temp was so much lower than the rack temp.
On Nov 14th cook, from 7am to 1:30pm the probes were just resting on the left and right side of the top rack with the left side being slightly hotter.
On Nov 8th cook, from 1pm until 4:30 Probe 2 was just on the left side of the top rack.
From everything I've read, this just doesn't make much sense, I'm also burning through pellets at a much higher rate than expected.
Hi ClipsSu,
I know it's a been a minute since you posted this. I'm noticing this as well. Maybe not 75-100 degrees, but I do see a 50 degree decrease. Did you ever get any resolution to your issue or did you just learn to live with it? I agree, it doesn't make sense since heat rises, but maybe I'm an idiot?
