Program keeps disappearing?

I ran a long cook for the holiday (~19 hours) and I was using a program in the firebird app. I noticed probably 3 times that the program had quit and the app was just running on the last temp setting. I had to start the program over and skip to my main cooking step. Not a huge deal, but I was running it to 205 on a probe and then wanted the temp to automatically drop. If I hadn't been home it would have burnt my food. Anybody else using programs have this happen during a long cook?
