I own a YS640 that is almost 2 years old and I really enjoy it. Recently, a problem has started occurring. Regardless of where I adjust the digital thermostat, once the heat starts to come up, the temperate trend shows that it is decreasing with the pulsing lines......it never actually reaches above 156-165. Been battling this the last few times and finishing items inside.

Any advice on what I need to replace or try as a solution.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Always best to call tech support. From my experience sounds like a thermocouple (I have replaced 4 and always keep a spare on hand). Nothing worse than getting ready for company only to find out that the pit has other thoughts.

Sorry to throw my 2 cents in and hope you get it figured out but tech support has a test that can get to the bottom of the issue. If you do not have a spare thermocouple around, I would order one while your on the phone with tech support or sales and in the mean time do the test.
