I changed out the thermocoupler last December and had no problems until today. When started, it shows the stair step up with the 350 degree start. I get a puff of pellet smoke then it no longer produces heat. It still shows the stair step up dashes. I cooked all weekend with no problems.

Any thoughts?

Are the pellets igniting?

If the cooker has gotten wet enough for water to have gotten into the pellet hopper, more than likely the pellets have disintegrated and have formed a pellet cement in the hopper and auger. This will require all of the pellets in the hopper to be removed, and the auger removed and cleaned out.

Here are the instructions to remove the auger assembly, but there is no need to separate the auger from the motor: download/Install%20and%20Repair/Procedure%20to%20Replace%20the%20Auger%20Motor.pdf

Thank you. We had a monster storm with straight line winds the day before. Makes sense.
