Getting cool around Wichita, KS and I'm going to be picking up a thermal blanket soon (I think). I use my 640 for direct grilling probably 75% of the time. Will the Thermal Blanket be okay at all temperature ranges? Or only at lower temps? I grill at 425-450.

Let me know please

You should be fine. We have had a few incidents where customers only cooked at 500 plus degrees (used the cooker just for grilling), and never removed the cover to inspect the cooker, nor did routine maintenance as outlined in the manual, which caused an issue with the painted surfaces on the cooker.

Got it. I plan to remove for warm months and keep covered in cool months. It'll be in the blanket from halloweenish time to march. Do I need to remove it more often and clean or inspect?

A once a month peek is probably a good idea.
