Started my 640 last night as well as this morning. Display showing set point going down then after a few minutes temp display starts to climb but still shows going down. Will get to 400 or so on display, no where near what the actual temp is, then starts to drop 3 degrees at a time then next flash of display shows dropping 1. Drops below set point as if it were starting up. temp display shows more close to actual as well as it has reached it set point then starts to climb.
Is this a thermocouple issue, Control Board?

Yes, thermocouple has been damaged or has failed and needs to be replaced.

I'm back in business. My local Yoder store had one.
Thanks,
Scott
