I need to replace the plastic inserts on my 640 factory installed probe ports as they no longer open and tighten down properly. Does anybody know if these can be found locally, home depot, lowes etc? If not, can a Yoder rep please contact me so I can order some new ones. Thanks!

Just take them out and throw them away. You don't really need them, the heat loss will be minor.

I leave mine in when I don't use the port, which is most of the time. But when I use the port I'm usually take the insert out with no issues.

Thanks guys, sounds like I am fine removing them when i need to use probes. Was just a bit concerned about affecting the positive airflow with them removed.
