Hello!

I wanted to post a topic on the process I had to go through to get my new YS640 onto our deck. Knowing it weighs around 450 lbs. I had to construct something that would fit on my pallet forks and then extend far enough to safely place it on the deck. The home we bought in 2009 has a deck that is on a slope and is between 5 and 6 1/2 feet off the ground.

Construction began

Testing to check alignment, front edge felt a little weak, also the terrain being so uneven needed to add a way to secure when leaning.

FedEx showed up and the box had no damage signed for it and brought it back for unpacking

Rolling it onto the "contraption." Hooking it on. I thank Yoder for their ACCURATE drawings on the website. There was very little slack and room for this 450 lbs. cooker to move around!

Onto the deck it goes!

LET THE COOKING BEGIN!!!
