So I have pretty much decided the 480 is the right smoker for me. I just wanted to see if any of the 480 owners had some feedback regarding full briskets fitting in the 480. Has anyone ever cooked one that may have been a little too long? Thanks for any response.

It would have to be an extra extra big brisket not to fit. I think you would want a smaller one anyway, one that large would be from a older cow and more likely to be tougher. Order it with the 2nd shelf and you could always separate the point from the flat.
