What generator do i need for a YS1500. I will only run this smoker off the generator so i don't want overkill. Thank you.

On startup, it will use about 200 watts for 4 minutes, then less than 100 watts until you shut it off. I use a deep cycle battery and a small inverter, and it will run the cooker for the weekend (depending on the battery you use). You will need to test the time length for yourself.
