Has the paint "issue" been addressed?

I have a YS640s on order and can hardly wait until it ships. While doing my due diligence before buying I read that some people were having problems with surface rust. Does anyone know if this was really was an issue and if so, has Yoder addressed it with the new units?

Thanks!

I have a YS640 on a competition cart that is a year old with absolutely no paint issue but it is kept inside when not in use. I have had grills that are powder coated, they look great for a couple of years, but when the coating starts to fail you have no way to repair it.
I’m currently waiting on a new YS1500s, the ability to easily repair the paint was one of the reasons I purchased another Yoder.

Just my 2 cents

Thanks for the reply 600hpcummins. My grill will not be kept inside but I did order the cover for it. The surface rust is easy enough to remove and touch up with the Yoder paint. Enjoy your YS1500s!
