Hi folks,

I'm seriously considering a Cimarron pellet for my next cooker. I do a few comps a year, and like extra space, and have always wanted a cooker than could handle a whole hog, but I am also a die-hard pellet guy.

I imagine the extra space in the Cimarron would accomodate full pans and half pans for cooking your typical 4 meat competition no problem, but I was wondering if anyone could comment on pans with a Cimarron.

Thanks,
Jason

Pans will affect the Cimarron, just as they do any of the Yoder Smokers cookers, as they all cook from the bottom up. This is not to say using pans is a negative, but rather requires an understanding of how using a pan affects the cooking dynamics of the cooker, and being able to correctly compensate to achieve the desired results.

Here is an article on using pans: viewtopic.php?f=36&t=1392
