Bad thermocouple?

Hi there! When I turn on my YS640, leave the temp at default 350 and hit start, the temperature instantly starts going up on the display, it went up to 496 degrees and the pellets had JUST started dropping. I unplugged it for 1 minute, plugged it back in and the same thing happened. I repeated this 5 times with the same result each time. . I'm guessing it's the thermocouple, any other ideas?

Thanks!
