Does anyone use it year round? I’ve been looking at it for quite a while. I don’t live in a super cold area buts usually kinda windy. Any feedback back from an owner would be appreciated.

I went the first year without a blanket. Bought one the second year and used it only in the winter. Year three has found me leaving it on year round.
I live near Seattle. Not overly cold but find it does help a little. Can't say it really helps during the summer but I guess you could say it doesn't hurt.
My only observation is that a little smoke does seem to get up under the blanket around the lid and discolors slightly.

All in all I will keep the blanket on full time. Maybe take it off every other year to make sure that there are not any more issues than what I can live with and treat or repair. At that time I will probably put the blanket back on.

Don't get me wrong...I am not complaining. Depending on where you live you may have more issues especially if you do not have a covered area for your pit or live in a high humidity area.

Great. Thanks for your input. I’m going to get it while I have the extra money.
