I continue to enjoy my 640 even after 3 years. The other day I was going through my garage, and found the cast iron griddle I bought with unit. I had never used and actually forgot about it. The diffuser was removed.

I popped the griddle on the left side of the pit. { "Grill" side up} On the right side I set in some brined thighs and wings. I smoked them up to temp, removed and covered.{ i did set a smoke generating item on edge of the fire pot}

The Yoder was cranked up and I got the griddle very hot. The chicken was grilled up and provided some very nice carmelization, without frying. They were pulled off, sauced and enjoyed.

Just ANOTHER example of the versatility of the Yoder
